Examination of the nominations lodged by sub-Branches for the election of State Treasure to fill the casual vacancy for the period until 2020 has now been completed.

As more than one nomination has been received we will need to conduct a ballot to fill the casual vacancy of State Treasure. The candidates are listed below in alphabetical order.

A draw was conducted under the supervision of the Returning Officer at 2.00 p.m. on 21 July 2017 at ANZAC House to determine the order in which candidates appear on the ballot paper.

A ballot paper has been prepared and enclosed with this circular and sent to sub-Branches. Voting is preferential, which requires every box on the ballot paper to be numbered in order of preference. The ballot paper should only be returned in the envelope provided i.e. – inside the white envelope marked ‘Ballot Paper’ which should be enclosed in the larger envelope addressed to the Returning Officer. Please also write your sub-Branch name in the space provided on the bottom of the envelope.

Please do not enclose any correspondence or material other than ballot papers in the election envelopes.

Ballot papers are to be returned so as to reach the Returning Officer, ANZAC House, 245 Castlereagh Street, SYDNEY NSW 2000, no later than the close of business on Monday 18 September 2017.
