ANZAC Day 2024

ANZAC Day was established to honour those who served and gave their lives in the Great War. However, in the years since WWI, Australian troops have answered the call to serve in conflicts around the world. As a result, ANZAC Day has evolved into a day of remembrance for all who have served and sacrificed their lives in conflicts that Australia has participated in.

RSL NSW is committed to leading the State in commemorative services. Our ANZAC Day message aims to connect all Australians to the ANZAC Spirit and encourages everyone to participate and pay their respects in their own unique way.

This ANZAC Day, more than 600 commemorative events are scheduled to take place in communities across New South Wales. Getting involved in ANZAC Day is an opportunity for all Australians to come together, honor the sacrifice of our service men and women, and show support for our current and past members of the armed forces.
