The Australian Army Military Police Museum (AAMPM) recently reopened after relocation and refurbishment. AAMPM collects, preserves and exhibits the history of the Royal Australian Corps of Military Police (RACMP). The RACMP’s rich and proud history is displayed across two open galleries where visitors can see equipment, artefacts and read the stories of Australia’s Military Police and their achievements at home and overseas.
Museum – Tuesday to Friday, 9am – 1pm
Tuesday, Thursday and the first Saturday of each month, 9am – 1pm
Members of the public are to contact the museum 48 hours in advance to confirm that your visit can be accommodated.
The museum is open to the general public. Visitors without a Defence Pass are to meet at the Holsworthy Barracks Pass Office.
Current, government issued photo identification is required for all visitors over 16 years of age.
Group bookings are essential, individual visitors are to advised to email the museum to confirm timings prior to visiting. Alternate opening times, including weekends, can be arranged by appointment.
