Circular 1/22 Request for support: RSL LifeCare critical staff shortages

Our partner charity, RSL LifeCare, is experiencing severe COVID-related staff shortages at its aged care facilities across Greater Sydney and Regional NSW. RSL LifeCare has requested the support of RSL NSW members to assist with the care of residents in paid and volunteer roles.

Any member who wishes to support residents (some veterans) of RSL LifeCare facilities will be provided with training and induction to any role that they undertake, including the donning and doffing of personal protective equipment (PPE). Support is required for resident lifestyle activities and mobility, catering and administration, infection control and booster vaccination rollout, visitor screening, and laundry assistance.
