Circular 16/22 ANZAC Day and Reveille submissions
To assist sub-Branches with the promotion of ANZAC Day in local communities, ANZAC House has curated a range of digital and print promotion material which can be downloaded here. Reflecting this year’s national RSL campaign ‘Commemorate Your Way’, the material includes posters that can be updated with your local commemoration details, Light up the Dawn information for members of the community unable to physically attend a Dawn Service, and social media tiles for your channels.
The RSL Australia ‘Light up the Dawn’ website has a range of videos and stories that you may wish to use on your social media channels.
Thank you to sub-Branches who have registered their local ANZAC Day commemorations on the RSL NSW website via this online form which appear on this page of the website to assist members of the public in your communities plan their ANZAC Day attendance. If you haven’t yet done so, please add your local commemorations via the online form.
A reminder that a significant number of fundraising tokens formerly owned by WBI are available to sub-Branches and can now be ordered online. Sub-Branches will be required to pay a small packing ($0.25 cents per token) and freight charge, however there is no charge for the tokens. Please visit the Fundraising page on the RSL NSW website for simple instructions on how to create an account and place an order.
Reveille submissions
Last year all members received this quick reference guide about the stories, news, and views that are needed for the Reveille, the RSL NSW website and social channels. If you think you have a good story to tell involving your sub-Branch, Auxiliary, or Day Club please email news@rslnsw.org.au before the end of each March, June, September, and December. The exception to this timing is the submission of images from ANZAC Day, which are due by 29 April.
Please note that ANZAC House receives many Reveille submissions and space limitations in the quarterly magazine mean that only a proportion of submissions will make it to the print publication of the Reveille.
