Circular 26/22 2022 State Congress and AGM

The 2022 Annual General Meeting and State Congress will take place on 31 October and 1 November at Newcastle Exhibition and Convention Centre (NEX). All members were advised in the Board Communique for 28 February.

Registration will open in August and the Notice of Meeting will be issued on 3 October.

In accordance with the RSL NSW Constitution Appendix C Clause 2, sub-Branches are required to propose motions for the AGM by 22 August, 10 weeks prior to the AGM.

Please submit all motions for consideration by the Agenda Committee and Board by email to support@rslnsw.org.au. If you prefer to submit motions by mail, please allow sufficient time for the mail to reach ANZAC House.

Please consider booking accommodation for your delegate and alternate delegate as soon as possible. Accommodation options can be found here on the Congress page of the website.

If any sub-Branch requires financial assistance for the delegate to attend, please submit your application to the sub-Branch Support and Assistance Fund by completing this form.

The Congress page of the RSL NSW website will be updated as more information becomes available.

To ensure your sub-Branch is eligible to send a delegate to Congress and that any possible motion complies, please familiarise yourself with clauses 15.39-15.41, 15.48, and Appendix C of the Constitution, which can be found online here.
