Circular 40/21 Sale of Concord RSL Club premises

The RSL NSW Board made the strategic decision to divest the Concord RSL Club premises and land at Nullawarra Avenue, Concord West after the Lessor, the Club, ceased trading in 2019. The RSL Club Limited was a separate legal business from RSL NSW.

As a charity RSL NSW has a duty of care to ensure that the optimal value is achieved from the sale of any asset so that it can continue to support and provide services to veterans and their families.

RSL NSW undertook an off-market sale campaign and adhered to appropriate probity and conflicts protocols. RSL NSW understands that the successful purchaser, The Croatian Club, is still finalising plans to establish a vibrant family and community orientated club that will bring employment opportunities and amenities to the area.

Detailed information about the sale, and the proposals for the new club, will be provided when RSL NSW is legally able to do so.
