Circular 46/22: Applications open: Anzac Community Grants Program

RSL NSW sub-Branch Executives may be interested in applying for the Anzac Community Grants Program funded by the NSW Government.

The Anzac Community Grants Program provides grants of up to $3,000 for projects that either promote appreciation and understanding of the service and sacrifice of military service personnel or support activities and services to enhance the wellbeing of the NSW veteran community.

Funding is available to individuals and not-for-profit organisations, including ex-service organisations, local government authorities, non government organisations (NGO) and educational institutions. Of the 52 organisations that received a grant through this program in 2021, 16 were RSL NSW sub-Branches. You can view a summary of the 2021 grants here.

Grant categories include:

  • Local community historical research and education
  • Preservation or display of war memorabilia
  • Public commemorative events, arts, and culture
  • Provide support to members of the NSW veteran community

As unincorporated associations, sub-Branches may be required to be sponsored/auspiced to apply for a grant. Eligible sub-Branches can request RSL NSW to auspice the grant on their behalf. For more information, please contact support@rslnsw.org.au.

Applications close on Friday 11 November 2022. For full details and to apply, please visit the Office for Veterans Affairs website.
