Circular 51/22 Online ESO Grant Forum open for registration
RSL NSW sub-Branches are invited to attend a free online forum about grant funding at 10 am – 12.30 pm, Friday 25 November 2022.
Hosted by the NSW Office for Veterans Affairs, the online forum for NSW ex-service organisations (ESOs) will focus on grant writing skills, available funding opportunities, and challenges that ESOs might face when applying for government grant funding.
The online forum will provide practical tools and guidance on:
- Navigating the grant landscape
- Overview of the NSW Office for Veterans Affairs Grant Programs and the Department of Veterans’ Affairs Programs
- Grant writing skills and processes
- Utilising application software
- General grant application tips and information
The NSW Office for Veterans Affairs and the Department of Veterans’ Affairs will also deliver presentations on respective grant programs, including information on application requirements and examples of successful projects.
Opportunities for discussion and questions will also be provided for attendees.

Applying for government grants
As unincorporated associations, sub-Branches may be required to be sponsored/auspiced to apply for a grant. Eligible sub-Branches can request RSL NSW to auspice the grant on their behalf. For more information, please contact support@rslnsw.org.au.
