Applications for event funding and registrations close on 29 June 2018.
Veterans’ Health Week (VHW) celebrates the ongoing efforts made to improve the health and wellbeing of the veteran and broader veteran community. Veterans, current and former members of the Australian Defence Force, their families, friends and carers, reservists and widows/widowers are invited to participate.
The Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) partners with ex-service and other community organisations to provide limited funding for VHW events that support the annual theme. This year’s VHW theme is Nutrition. VHW dates are 22- 30 September 2018.
DVA wants to hear from anyone interested in organising or attending a VHW event. DVA can provide information to assist submissions for funding. Funding applications can be submitted for single or multiple events that support the annual theme. Events can also be organised where funding is not required.

Please note, the VHW funding form and documents have been revised, so please read them even if you have been involved with VHW in the past.
