State Secretary Newsletter – 5 September 2018

2018 Constitutional Consultation Sessions

For information and circulation to sub-Branch members

President James Brown and team members from ANZAC House will commence a series of constitutional consultation sessions with members commencing Monday 10 September. These sessions will be held at sub-Branches or local clubs (due to space limitations at some sub-Branches). This is an opportunity for members to hear about the draft constitution, share their opinions and ask questions.

Phase one will encompass consultation sessions for members at various locations across the state over several weeks in September and October.

The first of these sessions will be Bowral at 9.30am on Monday 10 September, followed by Goulburn and Queanbeyan later in the day.  The team will then travel to Wagga Wagga for a consultation session on Wednesday 12 September.

There is an anticipated loop through Newcastle and the mid-north coast from the week commencing Sunday 16 September.  In early October we plan to visit the south coast with dates, times and venues to be confirmed.

We will release confirmed dates, times and venues each week in the State Secretary newsletter as soon as they are available, so members can plan their attendance ahead. Confirmed dates will also be made available on the RSL NSW website here.

The second set of information sessions will take place in November, where the final constitution with any amendments from the consultation sessions will be presented to members. Further information such as venues, dates and times to be released via the State Secretary Newsletter once details have been confirmed.

We highly encourage your attendance and look forward to seeing you at the information sessions.

Please contact the sub-Branch & Member Support Team on 1300 679 775 or via email at support@rslnsw.org.au for inquiries regarding the constitutional consultation sessions.
