State Secretary Newsletter – 9 May 2018
Dear Honorary Secretary,
The State Secretary newsletter dated 8 May 2018 contained a mistake. The member accident renewal insurance scheme information that was supplied was incorrect. The cost per member has increased to $0.77 not $0.66 as reported. Please accept my apology for this mistake and any inconvenience this has caused.
Member Accident Insurance Scheme
The RSL NSW master personal accident insurance policy expires on 31 May 2018.
The annual insurance premium has increased this year to $0.77 per member including GST.
The application form for this is attached to this letter and is also available on the website in the sub-Branch secure zone. Please complete and submit this before 25 May 2018.
The renewal procedure used last year will apply again this year. RSL NSW sub-Branches post completed application forms together with their remittance cheques payable to:
Scott & Broad Pty Ltd
Level 2, 924 Pacific Highway
Gordon
NSW 2072
Scott & Broad will collate all applications and renew the master insurance policy.
For further information regarding accident insurance for RSL sub-Branch and RSL Women’s Auxiliaries members, please contact the Scott & Broad offices on 02 9932 6444.

- 20 of these matters have been assessed, investigated and resolved.
- 4 matters have been referred to the RSL NSW Conduct and Ethics committee.
- 7 of the more complex matters are being referred to an external firm for assessment and recommendation.
- The remaining 12 matters are being assessed and investigated internally.
All complaints are being logged and managed in the same manner.
RSL NSW sub-Branch email addresses
Thank you to sub-Branches who have activated their sub-Branch email address. Most of these have been activated. There are still some sub-Branches that haven’t done this.
From 1 June all correspondence from State Branch will be directed to this email address exclusively. We will discontinue using other email addresses on 1 June 2018. This makes it critical for sub-Branches to activate their accounts to receive all State Branch communication.
Members and sub-Branches are still able to retain and use existing email addresses however official communication from State Branch to sub-Branches will be via the RSL NSW provided email address from 1 June.
