A BBQ to Remember
This Remembrance Day is a time to pause, remember and come together. That’s why we’re asking RSL sub-Branches to partner with Swiss8 for the BBQ to Remember.
Remembrance Day is a day when we commemorate our national servicemen and women and reflect on the freedoms we enjoy today because of the sacrifices made by others. We need to make sure these heroes aren’t forgotten and what better way to honour them than around a BBQ.
RSL NSW, in collaboration with veteran mental health charity Swiss8, encourages all sub-Branches to get involved in this great initiative which will help lift our spirits and support our veterans. Funds raised by Swiss8 will go towards supporting veteran mental health, while funds raised at the BBQ will go to sub-Branches to support their effort in helping veterans in our community.
We ask RSL sub-Branches to work with their associated Club to register for the BBQ, then get together to promote and host a BBQ to Remember on Remembrance Day.
