Circular 24/24 Reminder: Register and promote your ANZAC Day commemorations

To ensure all stakeholders can access information about ANZAC Day commemorations, sub-Branches are reminded to register their local event information on the RSL NSW website.

If you haven’t yet done so, please add the details of your local ANZAC Sunday, Dawn Service, and March events, and reunions, by completing the online form. Visitors to the Community Events page, including media, can search for events by location and map view.

Digital and print promotional material

To assist local event promotion, ANZAC House has curated a range of digital and print material which can be downloaded from the sub-Branch Portal via Commemorations, Ceremonies and Events > ANZAC Day 2024.

Reflecting this year’s national RSL ANZAC Appeal and ‘That’s the ANZAC spirit’ campaigns, the material includes flyers that can be updated with local commemoration details, digital assets, and social media tiles.

The RSL Australia ‘That’s the ANZAC Spirit’ website also has a range of videos and stories that you may wish to use on your social media channels.

Member Recruitment Toolkit

ANZAC Day presents a great opportunity to encourage the wider veteran community to join RSL NSW and to connect with local sub-Branches. An initiative of the RSL NSW Strategic Plan, the Member Recruitment Toolkit has been updated with some new imagery and includes a range of promotional recruitment resources, including social media tiles, for use by sub-Branches.

The resources are available in the sub-Branch Portal or the Member Portal via ‘Events and Promotional Tools’.

Following ANZAC Day

Sub-Branches are invited to submit high-resolution photos to news@rslnsw.org.au for publication in the Reveille, prior to 2 May 2024. Please note, ANZAC House receives many submissions, and space limitations in the quarterly magazine mean that only a proportion can be included.

Please refer to this quick reference guide to understand the type of stories, news, and views that are needed for the Reveille, the RSL NSW website, and social media channels.

Please visit the ANZAC Day 2024 page on the RSL NSW website to find ANZAC Day information.
