Circular 66/23 Applications open: Anzac Community Grants Program

RSL NSW sub-Branches are invited to apply for an Anzac Community Grants Program grant, funded by the NSW Government.

The Anzac Community Grants Program provides grants of up to $3,000 for projects that either promote appreciation and understanding of the service and sacrifice of military service personnel or support activities and services to enhance the wellbeing of the NSW veteran community.

Funding is available to individuals and not-for-profit organisations, including ex-service organisations, local government authorities, non-government organisations (NGO) and educational institutions. Of the 72 organisations that received a grant through this program in 2022, 22 were RSL NSW sub-Branches. A summary of the 2022 grants can be viewed here.

Grant categories include:

  • Local community historical research and education
  • Preservation or display of war memorabilia
  • Public commemorative events, arts, and culture
  • Provide support to members of the NSW veteran community

As unincorporated associations, sub-Branches may be required to be sponsored/auspiced to apply for a grant. Eligible sub-Branches can request RSL NSW to auspice the grant on their behalf. For more information, please contact support@rslnsw.org.au.

Applications close at 5pm on Saturday, 11 November 2023. For full details and to apply, please visit the Office for Veterans Affairs website.
