Circular 71/23 Australia Day Achievement Medallions

Administered by the National Australia Day Council, the Australia Day Achievement Medallion provides not-for-profit organisations, Australian Government departments and agencies, and corporate entities the opportunity to acknowledge individuals for their contribution to the nation and their outstanding performance.

The Australia Day Achievement Medallions are presented around Australia Day and the names of the recipients will be published on the Australia Day website from mid-February 2024. The format for presentation of the medallion should be determined by the sub-Branch.

RSL sub-Branch requirements

Sub-Branches are encouraged to consider a recipient for a medallion.

There is only one type of medallion available, which is the 60mm silver medallion in a black presentation case and a certificate ($38.50 plus postage and handling).

Please note that this year NSW will be awarded no more than 15 medallions, and only one order per sub-Branch will be accepted.

The first 15 orders will be accepted in the order they are received by the Member Support Team.

How to order

To submit an order for the medallion required by your sub-Branch, please email the following details to support@rslnsw.org.au on or before Friday 3 November 2023:
